Available in two sizes, the round Telu ottoman can be used as extra seating or as a leg rest in your living room. With its low height, it is also very suitable for children - hours of fun reading are guaranteed.

It is made of raffia fibers, which are patiently woven by skilled craftsmen using their hands and fine needles, and is filled with cotton and coconut fibers. The production process of the ottoman is very time-consuming due to the large surface area and the fine material, but it is definitely worth the wait with such an incredibly comfortable and soft result.

Please also note our other offers - in our store you will find many different baskets, home accessories and bags made from sustainable materials under fair production conditions.

Main material: Raffia

Our poufs are made from vegetable fibers. They smell and therefore feel wonderfully like nature.

Raffia (Corypha utan) occurs naturally in the steppe and forest areas of Southeast Asia. About every two years the plant renews its leaves and sheds the old ones, which are then collected by humans, dried in the sun for several days to weeks and, depending on the desired degree of browning, processed into wickerwork. The relative rarity and higher processing effort make this material somewhat more expensive compared to other plant fibers. Although it is little known in Europe, the material has proven itself among the local population in Southeast Asia in the form of all kinds of everyday utensils and is very popular due to its pleasantly soft, but robust character.

Filling: cotton and coconut fibre
