Our products are artfully crafted individual pieces. They may vary slightly in size, color and shape due to manual production and natural variations in materials.

Material: cotton
We use cotton from local farmers in Java for our products. The cotton fields are fertilized naturally and the cotton balls are picked by hand. The cotton is then separated from the capsule in a ginning machine. The resulting cotton is pressed into bales, combed and spun into yarn by hand. After the yarn has been spun in this way, it is processed by hand by the artisans on traditional wooden looms. Cotton is characterized by its absorbency and skin-friendliness. Our cotton has not been chemically processed and is therefore not suitable for the tumble dryer. The products should be ironed at low temperatures.

This rug is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we attach great importance to fair pay and good working conditions. In the factories where we buy our goods, we only work with mature and experienced craftsmen. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all work steps are done by hand, the production process hardly generates any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all this through regular site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
